Active SIG Membership is required

  • Room is set in crescent round tables for 215 (crescent means no attendee will have their back to presenter/ half round) with stage (remains from previous day) at center of room with podium, data projector and screen, and a wireless handheld microphone at podium; two 6’ tables with two chairs at entrance for registration

  • Internet for presenter (hard wire)

  • Room will be set by 11:00 a.m. for you

TEC-SIG is the largest SIG and offers its members up-to-date information on legislation, happenings within TEA, grants, and TEC-SIG activities. Members share technology-related experiences at three yearly meetings.

A panel discussion will consider educational technology issues for the 2017 Texas Legislative session. Panelists will include legislators, policy makers, and educators who’ll address the question: What Needs to Change to Educate the Digital Generation? Registration fee of $30 for current TEC-SIG members. Non-member registration fee is $50.
